Purchased QT6 Cement Brick Manufacturing Machine.

Acquired land in Marondera to develop a manufacturing hub.

Procured Mesh Welding Line to manufacture meshwire.

Bluegold Drilling secured its first UNICEF contract.

Acquired first drilling rig, founded Bluegold Drilling.

Purchased 12A Boshoff Drive, set up Head Office and Factory.

Purchased 68 Craster Road, Southerton, for business operations.

Exhibited wrought iron furniture at St John’s Annual Fair.

Participated in Farm Mechanisation Programme, supplying:

Grinding mills

Contract to fabricate security screens for U.S. Embassy staff in Harare.

Began supplying ZESA with fabricated products.

Business now operating from New Ardbennie.

Continued focus on furniture manufacturing and garden tools.

Started buying accident-damaged vehicles, repairing and reselling them.

Business registered as Farmserve Distribution (Pvt) Ltd.

Started importing mobile phones from South Africa.

Bought first car: Yellow Nissan Sunny, later sold for a pickup truck.

Moved into rented home in Glen Lorne, workshop moved to Willowvale.

Balancing family life with rising business and rental costs.

Weld Tech was founded as a sole proprietorship by Tichaona Mhuriro, operating from his parents’ backyard in Zengeza 2.

Initial team: Tichaona and Gift Mutuvha (welder).

Steel dragged by hand from Chikwanha market; welding machine borrowed when needed.

Core products: garden tools, car ports, burglar bars, gates, and scotch carts.

First big client: Farm & City Centre (Wynne Street branch), later expanded to other branches.

Supplied tools to Randall Brothers in Ardbennie.

Introduced wrought iron furniture manufacturing.

Hired pick-up trucks for deliveries.
